The big thing now will be if Jerry hits the portal or not. If Bubba is back, Simon is our QB next year. Then I'm out. What I witnessed in the passing game this season was atrocious....and that was with Bo. 5 Quote

Kab Posted November 23 Posted November 23 Should be interesting coaches meetings with players now how many are back after you consider seniors leaving and players transferring and bubba will scratch his head and wonder why would have been nice to see what Jerry could do running the team how many teams would Simon start for Quote

Longtime fan Posted November 23 Posted November 23 Is this year really a surprise to anyone ? Couldn’t have been a more typical year for bubba. About as par as you can get. Locked and loaded for another extension in the eyes of mastermind Chavez 1 Quote

Burn it to the ground! Wtf ya definitely sounds like he is staying. He just cares about his paycheck. I'm sorry but screw Bubba. 2 million dollars he's made as head coach with zero playoff wins in a regular full season. Don't wanna hear again about how much he loves UND. He loves his paycheck. 5 Quote
wheelsup Posted November 24 Posted November 24 Seeing the debacle that is und football this year is anyone still mad at the following? 1) Danny 2) feeney 3) pawlak 4) Landry 2 Quote
UND1983 Posted November 24 Posted November 24 Landry was here for a week and said hell no. Lol 4 Quote

Research previous posts on here, FWIW, as many on here saw the writing on the wall also. Quote
nodakvindy Posted November 24 Posted November 24 Didn't Danny recruit all our QBs. Hard to be impressed with his work and their seeming lack of progression if a walk on took the job. Offense was more well rounded and modern this year, even with inexperienced play under center. I guess we'll see how much of a difference he makes in Brookings next year when they will have sizable turnover. I'm not mad at him but I don't see his departure as a devastating loss. 1 Quote

Yes, Landry has been a total wreck down south. I think Feeney should have been given a better shot, but I'm not at practice and don't know what the coaches saw. Quote
Kab Posted November 24 Posted November 24 Monday should be the last day of bubbas UND coaching career, don’t know who would be interim coach 1 Quote

Maybe they played paper/rock/scissors to pick the starter. Quote
wheelsup Posted November 24 Posted November 24 I still think we are going to find out more about the qb situation.. romfo was as mid as it gets.. some would argue significantly below average.. to not give Jerry time even during the most obvious situations like today or the last 5 weeks.. says there is something else going on. 1 Quote
