Was scrolling through Kelly's Twitter account and saw this.  Hoping this isn't legit.

I had a former player DM last season after the extension expressing their frustration saying how he couldn’t stay awake during meetings.

Saw the same thing:

And you wonder why I make comments about culture? First off, read books or listen to interviews from the greats: Bill Walsh, Bill Belichick, Nick Saban, etc.

It all starts with culture; that is, accountability, discipline, and high expectations from the top down. All champions were champions before they were champions …

Despite being a nice guy, Bubba Schweigert clearly does not have the intangibles capable of developing a championship culture.

How can anyone think this current level of mediocrity and contentment will get UND to compete for championships with NDSU and SDSU? It won’t. Chaves should be reprimanded immediately, and obviously UND needs a new head coach.

At this point I think players will hit the portal when the portal season comes.

but I don’t see any players that I would say that really hurts

Was the AD at the football game, hockey game or hiding out at some location ?

Whomever took these pictures clearly has no respect for bubba and is in the room.. if this is the current culture of the team, change is needed sooner rather than later.

the extension continues to look terrible in hindsight.. but go back to the extension thread from last year.. it looked terrible then.  This is currently a never ending cycle of mediocrity.

It appears to me that Bubba has no respect for his players....repect is earned, not a given

I’m normally a glass half full kind of guy but I’m now at the point to admit it might be good to move on from the current head coach. Grateful for the contributions to the program and I’ll always cherish the win against the school south of us, but if you cannot win on the road you aren’t winning a title. Especially in the NCAAs where you’d likely have to go on the road at some point

I have told you all for quite awhile that it is one big country club in the athletic department.  Very little expectations and accountability.

Understand now?

No. You have made general statements without explanations. Are you referring to staff, fans, athletes, supporters, what/who??

If there is change it will start in internally where Bubba accepts new position in the athletic department and steps down. My gut feeling is we will see change in coaching staff for coming year on defensive side and with this would be Bubba’s last attempt to move the program forward. Also will see us go to portal to build up depth of this team. The fact what we are seeing is a team showing lack of depth and holding firm on maintaining red shirt in place. We have had no exceptional recruits in past several years on defense and it is showing with just few exceptions of improved play by developed players. I also think it’s philosophy of player they want. They want leaner quick body type playing defense and this works for first part of the season but as season goes along these player get nicked up there effectiveness declines by because of part of step or slight drop off in strength. This where I have problem with coaching then you need 2 to 3 players ready to play at each ready to fill in and rotate. Bubba keeps everything so close on status of his team unless player is definitely gone but I guess the opposing teams can see if player is playing hurt only us fans probably are unaware of this. Second we have seen now for several weeks where teams exploited our weaknesses on defense my thoughts there has to be some schemes to prevent some of this and visually we seem same thing happen over in the game and then in multiple games. My question is somebody must see this and yet I don’t see glaring shake up on this this does go to Bubba needing to force some changes because what we’re doing is not working. I see it on the offense side how we have changed our approach but not on defensive side.

The athletic director and his staff.  Particularity the athletic director. How could anyone argue based on the results of our teams the past 3-4 seasons.

The athletic department apologists are running out of alibis and excuses.

I’m not arguing. I’m not necessarily disagreeing.  I’m asking you to clarify. It shouldn’t be that difficult.

I don’t make excuses for others.  Putting anyone who doesn’t join the repeated bashing isn’t evidence that they disagree. I’m looking for a little insight as to statements about a country club atmosphere. I’ve experienced what that can be like with Jerry’s world in Dallas. Asking someone for clarification isn’t making alibis nor excuses.
