This country is being bright to its knees by fear....not the virus. Recovery from getting the virus is a couple weeks. Recovery of society from this hysteria will be years.

It’s sad that about half the country still believes outlets like msnbc and cnn.  You would think after they lied everyday for 3 years about Russian collusion, people would get the hint of what their t

Popular vote will never be used elect a president. The electoral college is here to stay because good luck getting 2/3 of the states to change it. Small states will never give away that power as it is why many states decided to join the union.

The electoral college ultimately came to be because of slavery, slave states not willing to join unless there was a compromise on slaves counted toward representation.

You are so full of it.

Common knowledge.  The south sought a compromise in representation.  They got it for the US House.  A direct election of the president would negate that compromise.  Thus, the electoral college was born.

Basic civics.

"In 1787, roughly 40 percent of people living in the Southern states were black slaves, who couldn’t vote. James Madison from Virginia—where slaves accounted for 60 percent of the population—knew that either a direct presidential election, or one with electors divvied up according to free white residents only, wouldn’t fly in the South."

Those slaves, considered and  later codified as property by the Dred Scott decision, counted each as 3/5 a person towards representation in the US House of Representatives.  Even though they had no prayer of voting. And again were considered property.

So, those southern states would gain more representation in the US House. In turn, in order to tilt the scale toward the south again in presidential elections, the states were give two electoral votes for their US Senators and one electoral vote for each member of the US House of Representatives.

its indisputable.

Unless you're really freaking stupid or insane.

This was decided before there were our current and possibly any political parties in our country..

That is also indisputable.

Yes, by the way it’s true. Also, even liberal Snopes admits it. I tried it and it works.

But.

Antifa.com doesn't exist as an antifa site. It was set up specifically by someone to redirect to the Biden campaign.

No longer does that:

"A quick search by Snopes confirmed this rumor to be based in truth (our search is recorded in the video clip shown below). As of Aug. 12, 2020, the URL redirected internet users to joebiden.com. However, at the time of publication (Aug. 13), the antifa.com site and its redirect had been removed."

But, type  "idiot" under Google in a search for images.  Trump still shows up.

Get ready for it:

ROTFLMFAO!

This is too easy.  Goon, everything you touch just turns to $hit.

I am a Fighting Sioux Hockey fan.  Please, please quit writing about them.  Or, better yet, attack them like you do antifa and Biden.

That'll guarantee we raise banner #9 and possibly #10 very soon..

I would suggest you type in antifa.com into your search bar and see where it takes you before calling people idiots.

Its a funny prank someone pulled, it probably has nothing to do with sleepy Joe, but it absolutely does it as of today and no stupid fact checking website you find can change that lol.

To quote one of the dumbest message board posters of all time, "ROTFLMFAO, this is too easy."

Search bar.  Just like Snopes says.

Where you type the URL is different.  But, that has the same result of Trump when typing "idiot" in either area when searching images.

So, I continue to...

ROTFLMFAO!!

Why did the framers use the Electoral College?
The Electoral College was created by the framers of the U.S. Constitution as an alternative to electing the president by popular vote or by Congress. ... Several weeks after the general election, electors from each state meet in their state capitals and cast their official vote for president and vice president.Oct 10, 2014

Which is true and doesn't change anything I wrote.

The reason there isn't a direct vote is based on a compromise due to slavery.

Simple civics.

Read up on the Three-Fifths Compromise.  It's in the Constitution.  Article 1, Section 2.

JHC.  No basic understanding of our history and government.

And they wonder why organizations like Black Lives Matter exist...
