Unfortunately the latest CDC data I can find is for 2017. The two categories to keep an eye on are ‘chronic lower respiratory diseases’ and ‘Influenza and pneumonia’. If there’s a decrease in those two categories roughly equaling COVID deaths we have definitely all been hoodwinked. We probably won’t know for a while though. What's so shocking here? That statement is consistent with what the CDC was saying since day 1...your chance of dying with Covid is exponentially higher if you have a pre-existing condition and you're elderly. But, as it stands today, their exists no other sickness as prevalent as Covid that kills, or exacerbates problematic health issues in certain demographics so rapidly. That's with all the "presumed" deaths. Keep doing more tests to pump up the "positive" numbers and the mortality rate falls......and it's even lower if one buys into the large percentage of untested asymptomatic carriers walking around.
