Sucks.  Always hate losing commitments.

I thought our guys never had any other offers?!?!?!?!!?! Sucks, but I guess it is a positive that it's for a FBS school.

If I understand it correctly, nobody burns a year of eligibility this year, does this mean this recruiting class likely be a fair amount smaller?  In theory, our entire team could be back for 2022.  However I'm sure there will be seniors that will graduate and not wish to come back etc..  So do you think the coaches are having conversations with seniors now, asking what their plans are?  Also if there are some seniors (who 2021 would have been their last year of eligibility) that play very little or are in a position that is already deep, would it be likely the coaches would maybe ask them to not come back for 2022 to free up scholarships?

Yup. Hard to believe he isn’t on big 10 radars. Hope we can keep him.

agree we need to hang on to him.. Danny has the perfect offense for Feeney to run.

Or NDSU coming in and offering him a scholarship. You know that they will absolutely hate seeing him go to UND.

We have lost two talented kids so far and sure don't want to lose Feeney (or McNeal) but I don't think there is much of a chance that Feeney will shift his commitment to SU.  Long story but it isn't going to happen!

I was actually a little worried about McNeal because I went to his twitter today and no UND reference in his bio or pinned tweet. My anxiety level went down a bit when I saw a lot of his recent tweets were UND related.

Early signing day can't get here soon enough!

I know Koziol decommitted from UND to Ball State. Who was the other decomitt?  Did Van Meer ever commit  or did we just offer him?

Van Meer committed to us but then decided 3-4 weeks later that he would stay closer to home (UNI).

With early signing day only around a month away, is anyone concerned by how quiet it has been? Clearly an abnormal year in terms of recruiting and playing, but kids still need to make plans for after they graduate. Why are we not hearing more here? Should we expect more surprises than usual on signing day? Is this supposed to be a smaller class, given what we have coming back?

I wonder if we will see Damien Owens sign early. He was pretty clear in his commitment that if a bigger offer came, he was still open to hearing it.

Really hope they are going hard after after both Ethan George and Mike Leatherdale.

Thoughts anyone?
