stoneySIOUX Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Shake it off. I fully expect our boys to come out and play well tonight. I liked most of our game last night, for the most part, particularly in our d-zone. Scheel wasn't sharp and he, nor Thome if he's in, will go 50% save percentage, tonight. Omaha did a great job on transition and that lead to most of their goals. Does Thome get a start? I think Bubbs puts Scheel back in and shows confidence in our sophomore stud. Lean on the leadership. 6-2 UND Guchi, Pinto, Adams, Smith, Colton, Michaud Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 5-2 UND........UNO doesn't score until at least 3 minutes into the game 2 Quote
WiSioux Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 I hope Thome plays... Something isn't right with Scheel. Quote
SIOUXHKYFRK Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Over/under on Alex saying "back of the net" or "campaign". Need better play by play and less banter between him and Jake. 3 1 Quote
crb1 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Really hoping to see the 2019 team. Last night was pretty brutal to watch. It will be interesting to see who starts in net. I wonder if Thome gets the start, I agree something seems off with Scheel. Quote

UND showed great improvement in just one week-last Friday, it only took Huntsville 18 seconds to get on the board and last night, UND didn’t allow a goal until the first 49 seconds! 2 Quote

Scheel starts again, thought coaching staff would go with Thome as he seems to be playing with more poise & focus. We'll see. Blaisdell, Caulfield not in the lineup, I'm assuming they're healthy scratches. JBD also not dressed. Quote
brianvf Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 JBD injured from that knee on knee penalty yesterday? I don’t recall if he came back out. Quote

He came back out and finished the game, but hopefully not a lingering issue. Can’t imagine too likely he’d be out if it wasn’t residual though..? Quote
burd Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 I don't believe any NC team since Cornell in the late 60s has gone undefeated. All of them showed how to bounce back from defeat, though. Quote
Wilbur Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Older lineup this evening. Haven't seen 5 for quite a while. I was kind of hoping Thome tonight, but maybe Scheel bounces back from his outing yesterday. Quote
90siouxfan Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Glad to see Reiger in there, I like his moxy.. hopefully he got some wings for supper. Quote
SIOUXHKYFRK Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 2 minutes in and commentators haven't called anything about the play! Quote
Wilbur Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Scheel with a big save early. Seems to be locked in early. Quote
UNDMOORHEAD Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Much more physical game from the guys tonight. Quote
MDtoGF Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Recap from last night and what to watch for from both teams tonight. https://seamoresports.com/2020/01/11/6-3-how-nebraska-omaha-upset-und-and-what-to-watch-for-saturday-night/ Quote
Wilbur Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 This shouldn't count. Bowen backed into him I think. Quote
burd Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 For the last two years (before this year), we've not been able to score without following with a penalty. Hope they can kill this one. Quote
