Good teams reload...and reload which we had done in a 10 year span despite early departure to the pros. Hopefully we'll see a much-improved product next year I have a hard time believing that next year could be worse than this one. Quote

I’m yelling ring the boards as I saw the SCSU player coming down on him. Lot of blame to go around besides him. Your fault. Distracted him! Quote
SIOUXELEVENS Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 This year was bad, depending on who we lose next year could very very bad. Quote
siouxfan512 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Anyone remember SCSU last year? Losing record and didn’t make the frozen Faceoff. Things can change quick. Quote

SIOUXELEVENS Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Coaches responsibility if a player is coasting and not giving it all such as #16 he should ride the pine until he skates like he cares. Quote

Oxbow6 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 If Berry is shortening the forward lines why not stick Casey back there if you're going to go with 6 D-man 2 Quote

AJS Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 I don’t know how you can’t question Berry’s line up decision making. This loss is on him. No way they are a better team w/ Johnson at Forward, Rieger on D and Adams / Hoff in the stands. Quote
UND1983 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Cant fault the effort. Energy was there and Cam was great but a couple mistakes and a couple missed breakaways were the difference. Quote

If Peski couldn’t go, they should’ve just put Casey back on D and inserted Hoff or Adams or even Yon. 2 Quote
Frozen4sioux Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Im not goingg to rag bad on reiger... it was a stupid mistake but.... I just think the overall effort and giveashit factor this year left a situation that one mistake could kill em Thats on leadership. 4 Quote

Fetch Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 I'm about done with sports - Any & mostly all teams I want to win usually end up losing & I care too much & my happiness is terribly affected - I need to find pleasure in finding teams I can make lose - So I'm going to become a NDSU Fan & a Goofer Fan Quote
fsioux Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 I don't think it was lack of effort. This team just does not have enough finishers. Team skated with SCSU but passing was erratic and players were never seldom in position to get off a decent shot when pass was either behind them or they had to stretch to bring it in. 1 Quote

Shaw on the other hand has been shown to be a liability and should be shown the door. It’s a shame that UND could have had a very good chance at beating a more skilled clown team but one brain fart (putting it lightly) by Reiger sank the ship. I still am in awe why he would make such a stupid no look pass in that situation. More then one brain fart sank the ship. And if you look at the season as a whole we left a lot on the table. This team didn't seem to get better as the season went along and to still be making rookie mistakes at this point of the season is unacceptable. I feel bad for Cam he did everything he could to steal a game and we couldn't get out of our own way. Quote
siouxweet Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 If I am Notre Dame, OSU or Cornell I hope UND does make it as they will be an easier out than some other that earned their way in. 1 Quote

There was a clear lack of effort and desire from a few players. Others lacked skill. Overall they lacked chemistry.... all year. It’s not a recipe for success. Quote
