I thought he would be back, considering his grandmother's ties to UND, the way he played his last game, and how volatile the Bruins front office is at the moment. SiouxScore Posted May 13, 2015 Share Posted May 13, 2015 I think in terms of talent/skill he was NHL ready but I still wasn't completely sold he would go pro unless we would have won the National Championship. With the uncharacteristic play from him in the National Championship I actually thought it was more likely he would be back because I didn't think he would want to go out that way but he had a great season and was the top goalie in college hockey so hard to really blame him just because he didn't bring UND the championship he and his teammates set out to. I wouldn't be surprised if a big part of what made his decision was the opportunity to win a job in Boston right away after they lost their backup goaltender. I know there is a lot of hype surrounding this NAHL goalie but I would be very surprised if there isn't a drop off in play from our goaltending next year my hope is that our offense can produce a little better and neutralize that some.
