Cratter Posted April 11, 2014 Share Posted April 11, 2014 What a instant classic. Tough battle. Great game. Proud of the guys. Two very equal teams. Gophers had one more ounce of luck. Like they say hockey at this time usually seems to come down to a lucky bounce and that's what we saw today. Just felt like this team had the toughness and grit to get it done. And to those fn guys of all teams. I hate saying, but I"m guessing they roll Union. Then we'll all hear about the "destiny" because they pulled THIS GAME out and there was NO WAY they were gonna lose the next game. Union is for real; I honestly think everyone is overlooking them because they are a small school in New York and are unknown to everyone except die-hard college hockey fans. That was a great game between two good teams. I will say congratulations to the Gophers and hope their fans can be gracious in victory. It's likely going to go down as the greatest goal in team history ever along side...whadyaaa know...a GRAND FORKS'S kids goal for them to win it all a decade ago. The Mich game was a loss by my all time favorite Sioux team as Trupper was my favorite player of all time, but this game hurts way, way, way, way more. From where they were in November to barely squeezing into the frozen Faceoff and the postseason. These guys played with passion and heart tonight.
