Oxbow6
Side note...a 43 year male was killed in Fargo as he was hit by a trian. No foul play suspected. Saw Schloss posted former UND standout Chad Johnson was killed last night in Fargo. Would these 2 situations be the same? Can't find anything naming the person killed by train but people normally don't just walk in front of an oncoming train.

Rough necks make a bunch, but spend it all on booze during the 6 off. I'm guessing that's where your $$ go.
siouxforeverbaby
The remainder of his contract (4 years) minus bonuses. Better words alot of money. Like close to a million or so. There has to be a clause though where they could fire him for less money. If not he had a real good attorney. If his base salary is $300,000....then, the buyout for four years is $1,200,000.00. That is without bonuses. I would assume that the clause is in there, but I am also guessing that having a poor season is not a reason in the clause. I agree with you that a poor season would not be it. 2 or 3 poor seasons different story, maybe.

How about the clause stating that he goes if he does not pass the ss.com test?
smokey the cat
How about the clause stating that he goes if he does not pass the ss.com test? Maybe it should have been included. From what I have read it the posters are serious fans that understand the game and know what they are talking about.

Godsmack
Just went to the CC/Air Force game at World Arena. CC went out with a wimper, losing 3-1. They cannot score goals if their lives depended on it, have one of the worst pp's in the nation. Gotta wonder how much rope is left for Scotty Owens. CC and UND seem to have a lot of the same problems the past couple of seasons. Don't know what their problem is.
