farce poobah Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Notre Dame hosting Michigan State on the Notre Dame Network NBC Sports Network. A guy in the Notre Dame student section wearing a Blackhawks #19 with the "C". Something about that seems wrong. Maybe I'll wear a Las Vegas Wranglers Geoff Paukovich jersey to the Ralph and see what happens. 1 Quote

Tsiouxnami Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 And, the glass shatters in Colorado Springs. 2:43 left in the game with the Gophers up 3-2. This will be a lengthy delay. Quote

GoalieMask Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Krushelnynski with a hat trick in the 3rd period after Goofs led 4-1. Quote
jodcon Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 So UND is 2 points behind Minnesota and 3 points behind Denver but has played 2 less conference games than either. Take 2 from Tech next weekend and we'll be in thick of it going into the break. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 So who had the Purple Cows 2 points out of first place at this point of the season? Quote
cberkas Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Krushelnynski with a hat trick in the 3rd period after Goofs led 4-1. Rylan Schwartz got the game tieing goal, Gopher left him wide open. Quote

cberkas Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 So who had the Purple Cows 2 points out of first place at this point of the season? They played the 10th, 11th, and 12th place teams in the league. Quote
brianvf Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 They played the 10th, 11th, and 12th place teams in the league. Agreed. I think once they start playing the tougher part of their schedule that they will come down to earth quite a bit. Quote

Goon Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 They played the 10th, 11th, and 12th place teams in the league. They've played the 43rd hardest schedule in college hockey going 6-0 against the bottom three teams in the WCHA who have won a grand total of 13 games combined. Quote
siouxforce19 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 1) Harvard kids should not have to cheat 2) Harvard kids should be smart enough not to get caught cheating Which of those is more correct? More importantly, they cheated in the class equivalent to POLS 115 - American Government at UND. I took that class. If you paid attention at all anywhere between 5th grade up until college, you could pass that class without studying. I get that it's Harvard, but those kids are supposed to be academically gifted and should be able to handle a very basic government course. It's comical to me. Quote

MissSioux85 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Per RussoTrib Gophers D Blake Thompson will transfer out of the U of M after the current semester. Hasn't played a game yet this year. More insight on the Thompson situation With Minnesota returning seven defensemen from last year's team (including Thompson) and adding both Brady Skjei (New York Rangers) and Mike Reilly (Columbus Blue Jackets), there was little room on the depth chart for Thompson to play. The blue line situation doesn't clear up much next season either. They only have one senior and even with early departures the Gophers have 2-3 defensive recruits between Michael Brodzinksi, Jake Bischoff and Tommy Vannelli that could come in next year. I figured something would have to give. Minnesota's recruiting pipeline is quite deep at the moment. It will be interesting to see how they juggle all their committed forwards over the next couple of years. Quote
