NDSU doesn't have a choice, as long as UND and NDSU are in the same conference, they have zero say in playing in Grand Forks every other year. 3 Quote

I don't think it's ever been officially announced that NDSU is playing in GF in 2020. It's going to come down to who is dropped from NDSU's conference schedule and where that game was to be played. For example if we are replacing say Youngstown State and they would have played at Fargo in 2020, they will plug us in instead. The fact that we play in Fargo in 2019 isn't going to have any bearing on where the MFVC starts the series. We can only hope we get them in GF first. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get them at GF until 2021 Quote

We should get much more of a feel for readiness from the September 7th game in Fargo next year. Then, I hope it's in 2020, were we'll know by about 4:30 on a fall Saturday. Fingers crossed on that last sentence! Quote

I just pray that Bubba shows me some reason to be really confident about what lies ahead. 2 Quote

jdub27 Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 http://www.fbschedules.com/2018/08/missouri-buffalo-four-fcs-opponents-future-schedules/ Quote The North Dakota Fighting Hawks, which will compete as an FCS Independent in 2018 and 2019, will make their first-ever visit to Columbia to take on Mizzou on Aug. 30, 2025. UND will receive a $550,000 guarantee for playing the game. Future FBS games: 2018 - Washington ($500,000) 2019 - Open (still one open spot, 12 game season) 2020 - Kansas St ($475,000) 2021 - Utah St ($400,000) 2022 - Nebraska ($515,000) 2023 - Open 2024 - Iowa State ($550,000) (12 game season) 2025 - Missouri ($550,000) (12 game season) 2026 - Nebraska ($560,000) Pretty attractive, relatively close games with nice paydays outside of Utah St, though that is easily the one UND has the best chance in. 3 Quote

jdub27 Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 In related news, old friend Gene Taylor just inked Bill Snyder to a 5 year extension through the 2022 season, when he will be 84. UND plays KSU in 2020, when Sndyer will be 80 years old. Quote
