Idk

Kinda yeah. Started by Jordan Schmaltz a few months ago on his Home by 3 podcast. A lot of NHL players are dropping it in interviews and even Billy Guerin made light of it when he was a guest on the pod.

Can’t stand hockey lingo these days but whatever. Kids are having fun. I’m an old man that never knows what the hell they’re talking about even when I hear them perfectly clear.

Pecknold in the Quinnipiac Chronicle.  Not exactly a ringing endorsement of the guy that just had back to back shutouts in the regional.

“He was ahead of the play the entire night,” Pecknold said of the Czech native. “He was locked in. We didn’t do enough to get bodies in front of him. He overchallenges, which is fine at this level, but that creates rebounds and they’re in trouble for that. We didn’t generate those first shots.”

I thought Spoons was doing a good job at directing the puck and rebounds to the outside.
A few instances of rebounds, but boys were there to clear them out.  And honestly, I thought he had the best rebound control of any of the four goalies playing yesterday.

That’s baseball has been a line that Aussie and Schmaltz have been using a lot lately on The Live in Five podcast. It was even their insiders term of the week a few episodes ago.

He's a douche. Always has been.

Anyone that watched that game knows his team was outclassed and outskilled from the opening drop of the puck.

Wasn't even close TBH.
They kept SOG close, but that's about it.

Pecknold might be the most arrogant and outspoken coach I've ever seen in college hockey. He's been saying stuff like this for years.

Whether it's true or not, no need to air all that.

He acted like they got jobbed out of the 2016 national championship as well. They were outmatched from the start, had no chance against the CBS line, and lost 5-1. Tip your cap and move on without taking shots at the other team or the officials. I get it in a one goal game but take the high road when you were outmatched.

I seem to remember Rand being very complimentary of the Sioux in ‘16. Came right out and said the CBS line was the best line in the country.. like his personality or not, the guy is a great coach. I’ll always have respect for what he turned the Q into and for his absolute out-coaching he did of Motzco a couple years ago for their ship.

Can you imagine the NIL money our fan base could raise. I know I could've contributed if I had been there.
