Anything can happen, but if they weren't stunned at Montana doubtful it will happen at USD.

Yep. I think there was either an article or somebody pointed it out a year or two ago about how advantageous it has been for SU to go deep into the playoffs every year. All of their young players get an entire extra month of practice every year, then add on SU blowing 3-4 teams out a year giving them actual playing time. The cumulative affect of that over time adds up. Hopefully this will be the norm for us too and we will see it make an impact.

Very unsure of this game .  Optics, stats, results say und should confidently win in a controlled manner.  

However ….it’s a rivalry game in their house against a team that will be throwing everything at the wall to test what works.  The coyotes have nothing to lose.  Win or no playoffs. They are firmly sitting in the win or go home situation. Und can expect the unexpected and see things that are not on tape.   Und needs to be laser focused and not look ahead to next weeks game against the #1 team

If und plays like they have been playing they will win. Not expecting a blowout.  More like a single digit victory. 
 

need to keep the momentum on Unds side.  
 

Unlike years past …this year …und is capable of wining road games.

I’m not sure USD is good but this is a definition trap game.  Playing a team with nothing to lose……rivalry game next week

Ya might be right.  If Illinois St can hold SD to just 13 pts in the Dakota Dome (while they also allowed Youngstown St 40 pts), then UND should be able to hold SD to 10-13 pts max.  It is a new era.

After watching rhe first few weeks of hockey and the football team, it definitly feels lile the fb team has grown alot more since the  new coaches took over. It definitly is fun talking about meaningful fb games in Nov.

Don't forget the football team had some disappointing moments in the first month, too.  Hopefully the bugs are getting worked out with hockey team now.

USD may have a one score lead at the half due to energy of home and urgency of season. I believe 2nd half we will adjust and win by at least 10. If we have a fast start and make USD reliant on the pass we should win by 3 scores with subs playing.
