These three points. 

You score on 1 or 2 of those PP chances earlier in the game and this game looks entirely different.
Homer will want back both those 2 goals.  And unfortunately those goals changed the entire game.

Work on that PP hard for Clarkson.

I still think this UND team is more talented and will go further this season than UMN.

RIT just crushed Clarkson 6-2 for their first win of the season.
Clarkson off to a 1-3 start.
Need to take care of business out there in both games to avoid a NPI killing.

Kinda the end result you expect going into this series.

Defensively thought we had some lapses this weekend. Let Minnesota speed get behind us a few times for odd man opportunities.

Little bit of overpassing at times tonight.

Just not the same level of intensity and urgency tonight.

Homer has to handle shots better especially with the glove, allowing too many rebounds and just wasn’t real sharp tonight.

The power play was incredibly bad. Can’t expect to win a game like that if you don’t cash in on at least one of those

What disappoints me most so far is that a lot of the egregious mistakes and penalties are coming from upperclassmen, not freshmen.  Strinden’s giving up breakaway goal to St. Thomas when we had a lead, then penalties by upperclassmen in this series.  
Expected much more from Strinden and Menghini, but hopefully they’ll come around when it gets into the heat of it.  Josephson seems like he deserves power play time with his zone entry and puck skills, along with Strathmann.  To be sure I expected growing pains, but when a lot of those pains aren’t part of a youth learning curve, it leaves you a bit disappointed.  Oh well, on to a critical Clarkson series.

We knew their would be growing pains.  We didn't play the little sisters of the poor. 

Liv was off all weekend, and dont get me started on Weibe.

Overall on defense, we have a TON of work to do. We need to be way more physical in that department

Excellent take on the game. They didn't do much in the first but didn't let minny do much. After that it was painful to watch.

You saw hints of what Verhoeff can be, especially with the puck, and he may change a lot between now and March.  On the downside he looked a bit lost on the rush that ended with their fourth goal.

Him laying out would have prevented that goal as well as Swanson last night on their second goal.

I think Schloss tried to help the fan bases' psyche by showing the numbers about either team getting swept in this series, just doesn't happen.  Even when we had DeRidder in the net, and they had Knies, Cooley, Snuggy, LaCombe, Faber, Brodzinski and the games were on the then Olympic rink Mariucci arena....heck, that team took that Minnesota team to OT twice.

Not excusing the effort, just understanding that there is a ton of pride on both sides of the river in this one.

It would behoove Jackson to walk the talk & enforce some accountability with the team; perhaps by benching Strinden. If there are no consequences, no lessons are learned & it sends a signal that the coach won't punish bad play. Avoid being a paper tiger. Good opportunity for Klee to see what he can do.

May have been the worst games that I've seen #4 and #21 play.  Better now than April.

First time this year an opposing team played a much more defensive system and they struggled with it. They will probably see lots more of it unless they can score first. Only a few  teams will be willing to play wide open with them.
