I think it’s in the eyes of the beholder. Clearly our recent crop of recruits haven’t been very effective so what might be a prized recruit at CC might not necessarily be considered a prized recruit elsewhere. Yeah, usually you might have one freshmen make an impact, but most of the time you need to count on upperclassmen until they come around. I remember a Snuggerud getting "snuggies" from Ed Belfour back in the day. A Belfour snuggie involves the narrow blade end of a goalie stick and the region immediately below and behind an opposing player's protective cup. You stood on the top of Ed's crease and you got a snuggie. It was named that because first time I saw it Dave Snuggerud was the recipient. Managing a roster that will have that frequent turnaround has got to be tough, especially if many end up being one and dones. I imagine communication on what their plans are is crucial in knowing what your roster is going to look like, but we've seen sometime the NHL teams can change their minds rather quickly.
