fightingsioux4life Posted Sunday at 07:33 PM Posted Sunday at 07:33 PM Time for a true national search. Advertise widely. Get a good sized group of applicants. Narrow it down to three finalists. Pick one and tell him to build the program however he sees fit 2

My sister was assistant to his broker, so they would talk on the phone and what not. One time when I was back home visiting GF my sister arranged a meeting where Tom gave me a personal guided tour of the Ralph; locker rooms, all the fancy rooms, everything. I couldn't believe it. I was kind of embarrassed that this guy would take 2 hours out of I'm sure his busy day to give some nobody like me a tour. I'll never, ever forget his generosity. 1

In this current climate, you have to have a new HC in place almost immediately after you announce their predecessor’s dismissal. Basketball and hockey can’t have lame duck coaches during their respective early portal windows. Hopefully the way they handled football proves Armacost understands this dynamic. Agreed. There has been nothing on the basketball coaches. If you were going to make a move it probably should have been made already. No announcement of an extension either. (Which Sather, Mal, and Berry don’t deserve) When Mal and Sather were extended last time it was announce Mar 14th. So it does appear there is a chance they let them coach on the last year of their contract, which is crazy to think about.

Chaves has allowed the department to rot and it is his running of the show that has led to UND athletics significantly underperforming. The AD shouldn’t be allowed to try and bail himself out of this and should go as well (or even before) as these coaches. 2
datameisterq Posted Sunday at 09:40 PM Posted Sunday at 09:40 PM I hope to hear Brad Berry utter these words soon, "F^*%kin' Chrysler Plant here I come!" 3

I mean I would imagine you want to get it done with. Portal opens on the 30th. So if there is a move, it’ll be early this week. Berry is going into the last year of his contract. I think he stays and this is his final season. Retires or just leaves, he goes out on his own terms.
78 und grad Posted Sunday at 11:10 PM Posted Sunday at 11:10 PM Berry wont go anywhere right now. He’ll finish his last year. Then ride off into the sunset. He doesnt need to work.

If Berry doesn’t leave, doesn’t something have to give? Swap out one or more of the assistant coaches? Bring in Chyzyk as GM? We have one NCAA tourney win in four years. This is the definition of insanity if we go another year without changes.
TwamleyShuffle Posted Sunday at 11:20 PM Posted Sunday at 11:20 PM Berry is out according to the herald 3
yzerman19 Posted Sunday at 11:21 PM Posted Sunday at 11:21 PM I thought Gretzky passed away. Good to hear he's still kicking it. Kauker used to know my stats better than I did back in peewee : ) 1
