It’s already been reported who their guy is

I’ve seen Dan Jackson who was at Idaho St mentioned but media in Sioux Falls wouldn’t confirm.  Is that what you are seeing?

That's what TwiX is saying.

Yet look what our new governor (who has two degrees from UND) just did yesterday … it’s beyond maddening. I tell you … the UND community needs to rally to make everything right again in the world.

Seriously I’ve already disowned him too. What a flipping traitor. You never saw Burgum wear any UND gear!

How did UND drive him away?

His OC and position coach left so he was burned by that. He was unsure what the future was at UND so left for something familiar with Danny on staff at SDSU. He said he wanted to stay close to ND so his family could easily travel to watch him.

Not talking about Hagen.

Over / Under players that follow coaching staff to Washington State. Current roster. Set it at 4. I’m going under.

It’s looking I’m going to be so wrong. It’s happening today. Way over.

Sounds like sour grapes.  There are No Rules ANYMORE!!  If the coaches leaving think a few Jacks can help them win games at the next stop of course they are going to ask.

I agree. I don’t get why they are all so mad

Small town mentality. “Oh you’re too good for us now??” After he was there for almost two decades. It’s probably made worse because they were a doormat in D2.

There definitely are very few rules anymore, which I personally don’t think is good for the game of college football. And don’t just take my word for it-there’s a lot of others in high regard that agree with me; for example, Nick Saban. There needs to be more regulation. NIL and transfer portal are fine, but there needs to be some regulation within it. There were numerous programs that weren’t following the rules to begin with, but now there’s no rules for them to even have to attempt to adhere to. Don’t have to look much further than Fargo for example…

Anyways, on a more positive note, the retention that UND Football has put together under Schmitdy and Fruechte has been quite remarkable, all things considered. 2025 shaping up to be a special year…

Recruit. Develop. Retain.

Schmidt has done a great job retaining key players.

Look for him to make a big splash in the spring portal period.

Winning right away will help make it easier to recruit high school seniors, which is how the program needs to be built in the long-term.

LOL  - where would most go?  NDSU has done it right from the start of the D1 era.  Just because you have a .500 program is no reason to start making stuff up.  SDSU has 18 in the portal with most going to WSU.

You must be bored if you hang out on a rival's discussion forum all the time.
