No, no, no, a hundred times NO.

I don't care what realignment did to the college game, the Goofs are still my #1 enemy.

And always will be

I’m in a mixed marriage on this one so I tread lightly. Needless to say I needed to be careful during the Quinnipiac game but I digress

I think a lot of it comes from folks that grew up and or live in North Dakota but didn’t attend either school. I’ve been through this with a few of my uncles

This is accurate.

I have a good buddy who I went to High School with. Grew up rooting for UND and NDSU. Loves all sports, was a sportswriter for quite a while.  He currently lives in Twin Cities, works for the University of Minnesota. His son went to South Dakota State, his oldest daughter went to UMD and his youngest daughter recently graduated from UND.

He has a pecking order for who he cheers for depending on the sport.

Being a MN girl (ancestors here 1857, 1858 (2), and 1880), I have always cheered for UND hockey. Not sure why. When the North Stars went to Dallas (thanks Norm Green), I quit pro hockey and watched just college.I can be pretty rabid at hockey games..almost got a bench penalty once and then one time my 100# friend tackled me after Zi made an obscene gesture to an opponent’s father. God knew what he was doing getting our of hockey!

Not official, but the rumor is Jimmy Rogers to Washington State. Vigen also mentioned as a possibility.

It is now almost official, will probably bring most of the staff with him.

Will be interesting to see what happens to Danny.

I don't see how this could be true Regarding Gronowski. Pretty sure he is all out of eligibility as he was same class as Schuster I believe.

Wow football has just gotten extra crazy now that everyone has NIL's going and stuff. SDSU coach leaves after two years, if he takes some of their best players....SDSU could be looking at a rebuilding year next year with a new coach.

Either way I'm glad Bubba stepped down and we've got Schmidt who has already proven to be better in the portal in a short period of time. Times have changes quickly in the past five years and I finally think we have the coach and the facilities to not be left in the dust amidst all of this change, but hopefully we can capitalize on it.

He was a true freshman during the spring 21 season, which basically doesn’t count toward eligibility. He redshirted in fall 21 while injured, then played 22,23,24. So yes, I think he has one more year if he wanted.

In that case I hope he goes somewhere and gets some money. Seems like a quality young man.

Well you can be successful like NDSU and SDSU,  lose your coaches every few years and have to rebuild, or, you be mediocre and have your coach hang around forever like Bubba.   The first is still preferable but still sucks.   It will be interesting to see how SDSU handles this.

Crazy to see after the loyalty Stig brought to the program....I'm guessing he thought it would be a long term transition.  2 years later, Rodgers cleans house of the program and the staff.  What will be interesting is how many players head west with him....including the backup QB, who was getting the keys handed to him.

Jacks fans are reacting like Bison fans did when Bohl left.  POd...confused...No we are used to it.  With winning comes the bag, and the bag trumps all in life.

Ooof. SDSU could be in a bad spot depending on who on staff and the roster goes with Rogers. Having Washington State recruit the MVFC footprint won't help things either.

Does Stig come back for a year to try to salvage what he built and Rogers guts in two short years?

While it is obviously real nice while it lasts, things can be undone in a real hurry in the current environment. Things can change fast (in a good or bad way).
