It's hockey sometimes you need to tip your cap to the other goalie.  However, one or two more would have been nice.

Two posts were hit by UND as well, plus a couple near misses or great saves.
Certainly could have been a bit more lopsided.

Our fan base does this literally every time we lose. And even after some wins.

Anyway, a sweep is a sweep.

Hey, please be considerate of @gfhockey. He’s gonna be working double time telling Sandy how great he is. ;)

Speaking of whom, I hope someone is with him tonight,

I like Livanavage more every time I see him play.   Plays with a lot of confidence for a frosh.

Yeah, after watching him play, surprised that he didn’t get drafted by someone.

They are still waiting for the perfect game in which UND wins 35-0.

His skating form looks the same without all the brain-deadisms in the dzone. Crazy to think that undrafted this kid could be around 4 years. Will bring much more value than a blue-chippah that’s here 1-2. Recruiting gem.

I think Cooper Moore had a very good sophomore season, but just seemed to regress and take too many chances.

Schloss says that UND hit four posts tonight.

On Saturday, the scoreline was kept close by Minnesota Duluth goaltender Matthew Thiessen and his posts. UND hit four of them and the Vancouver Canucks draft pick made two brilliant desperation saves.

Update on Schmaltz's injury.

Quote

The biggest concern coming out of the game was an upper-body injury to Jake Schmaltz in the second period. He left the ice with trainer Mark Poolman and didn't return.

"He's day-to-day," Berry said. "We'll go back and take a look at him and see where he's at."

Hopefully he's good to go for Miami next weekend.
