If he is comfortable with the current scheme and OC he certainly has a chance to play earlier here. Have to imagine every position is wide open starting in 4 days. I guess I don’t see the mass exodus others do but could be wrong. They predict "mass exodus" every year. Part of their MO. 3 1 Quote

UND-FB-FAN Posted December 4 Posted December 4 Good group of recruits coming in. Nice to see; they committed to the program and new facilities and not just the head coach (not necessarily surprising). **Big things are coming for UND FB and everyone sees it … Quote
Hambone Posted December 4 Posted December 4 North Dakota announces 23 additions during early signing period - University of North Dakota Athletics A lot of linebackers Quote
jdub27 Posted December 4 Posted December 4 Was 23 the number that was expected? Meaning, did anyone get cold feet and hold off or go somewhere else (outside of the WR who flipped a few weeks ago)? Quote

I Think the lower number of players for fbs may stop some of the portal exodus ‘the portal for fcs may be more for drop down players interested to see where Feeney ends up and if UND gets a fbs drop down QB Quote

Dustin Posted December 4 Posted December 4 Not to poo-poo on the signing day celebration, but there's a lot of talk about what a good thing it was keeping all the recruits in this class, but also a lot of talk in the new coach thread that we need better recruits. So, if the current staff, whose recruits have underwhelmed the fans, especially on defense, just recruited this class, what should make me feel any better about their future performance as student athletes? Were these recruits committing to UND over our primary rivals? Quote

shep Posted December 4 Posted December 4 My continuing complaint is there are OL's 300 pounds or close and the DL is a 245 guy. Need more meat on DL Quote
