The only win NDSU has over a team with a better than .500 record so far this year is Central Arkansas.  There are three games to go but their schedule and past performance could look like 1-2 or 0-3.  The records of the top five in the conference will be a tight bunch and they very well could be on the outside looking in.  3-0 would obviously change that.  This will be quite the race to the finish.

Here's my thought. The NDSU game unfortunately was this teams Super Bowl. That's the only thing that makes sense with the drastic left turn this season has taken. The good news is this team is exactly where many thought it would be at this time. A successful season is still in reach. On both the coaching staff and players to get this thing turned around. Extra emphasis to the Offensive Coordinator.

There could be massive implications in that NDSU@UNI game depending on how things sort out. 

• UNI could be 7-3 and looking for win 8 to get a low top eight seed.
• NDSU could be 6-4 and jonesing for a seventh win.

None of that matters to UND.
All that matters to UND is two words: Beat Murray.

I will never doubt their ability to reload, but I think the high level recruits they have can show their worth in Fargo for a year or two and then hit the Portal as many did last year.

NDSU has the Slukys and Northern Iowa left.  They will lose the one at Northern Iowa, but beat SIU at home and I think they sneak in.

If they don't make the playoffs Entz's seat will be hotter than a grinder with double hot sauce with no white sauce.

Maybe it's already hot now that they've run out of Klieman's players and losing to every Dakota School.
