2023 Football Season

At what point does a win become big?  I mean, we could win the FCS championship and people would start saying, “well, it’s not like it was when James Madison and Sam Houston State were around.”  Just need wins, period, regardless of how big they are perceived. That said, there are 3 opportunities to get “big wins “ this year, and everyone knows which ones they are.

Beyond Smith, the RB room is subpar right now. Red has the next most talent, but he’s split out and not a pure RB. he  definitely needs to get the ball a ton though.

need two transfers, not just one. Ziebarth has some potential, but not likely to be more than a 5 carry/game back for his career.

Sorry for having faith in our own players. It’s not like we haven’t seen him play before, so he has to have a big game against the blue bloods otherwise he isn’t a good RB?

You’ll be okay. Sample size of 1 isn’t something to get too excited about. There’s a lot of football left. I’m hopeful about this team and the RBs looked very good, but one game is the ultimate small sample size.

112 yards on 7 carries.  16yds/carry. Take out the 79 yd run.

33 yards on 6 carries.  5.5 yds/carry.

Small sample size but impressive numbers.

The video correct answer no potatoes correct answer but it's potato bowl.  He might be working on the NIL angle. Simplot Looking at you.

Crappy takes, crappy fan, crappy attitude, we get it that you don’t want UND to succeed. You don’t want Z to do well based on your past posts. 

the idea that UND’s backfield is not going to be a weakness should be a good thing for UND fans. We don’t need Z to be an all conference RB , but I do expect him to nit hold back this offense. I think any RB can be a big time player with a top OL.

If I recall correctly, the UND football team scored 50 points and WON a football game a few days ago, yet the conversation here is that the team sucks because of things that happened 10 to 20 years ago.  

Also, if memory serves, the starting QB went 22-26 for 200 plus yards, but some are still calling for his head.

UND was number in offense yards this week.  Second string scored two TD's.  I remember wondering if we could get the second string in the game.

Should have had MVFC QB of the week also. Baker from SIU got it but Tommy had better numbers. Could have been the opponent to maybe who knows?
