When they eventually hire the next coach, the key question you ask the coaches interviewing for the job "where do you see yourself in 5-6 years?" If his answer gives any indication that he would still be coaching at UND he should no longer be considered for the job.

I agree. Reality of FCS football … you can’t hire a lifer. Bubba wants to be a lifer. In other words, perpetually average.

cosches appear to have pulled out the same concepts they used for the xDSU teams.

If we are content being a borderline playoff team with a below average defense that announcers identify as “NDU”, then we can keep the status quo. If we want to be anything more, a change in leadership is necessary.

I agree with you. The other posters on here, who I won’t name, are the ones who post weights and guessed on 40 times somehow thinking that will get us to ignore UND’s average at best record over the last handful of seasons.

That is what we have . The question is that enough for UND?  Average.

That should do it. Hopefully the right decision will be made by the AD to change coaches. A new coach may or may not lead to better success, but we know based on history that Bubba is just barely above the .500 level as a head coach. If you keep Bubba on then you are basically saying that we can’t do better and we should be happy with the status of the football program.
