So if we sweep next weekend and Denver sweeps too, DU wins the cup?

No, we're 4 pts up.  DU needs to sweep and we would need to lose either both games or lose one game outright / lose other in OT/SO.

If we win one game at UNO, we win Penna regardless of what DU does.

Caulfield........too good to be too quiet too often. Best skater on the ice IMO tonight. Needs to translate that play more consistently.

Albrecht is simply a hockey player. Knows his role, accept it and competes his a$$ off.

Let's not kid ourselves........it's Driscoll play that has elevated this team. He was below average through the Cornell series. He's bern the conference MVP since that series.

That save on his back should make sportscenter top 10.

Caulfield and Driscoll have been the most noticeable improved since the losing streak ended.

Can they give Driscoll the NCHC Goalie of the Week award for the 4th week in a row?
Only potential candidates are Driscoll or Hrenak from SCSU.
Hrenak allowed 3 goals on 42 shots against the 7th place team.
Driscoll allowed 3 goals on 58 shots against the 3rd place team.
Seems like a no-brainer decision to me.  :)

I know Miami didn’t win both games this weekend but Ludvig Persson had a really strong weekend. He had a 44 save shut out tonight and stopped 49 of 52 shots last night.

Crap, you're right.  They'll probably give it to him.  That's a lot of saves in one weekend, even with one game being an L.

Yah, and given how badly outmanned Miami is to Duluth, that’s quite a performance. I’m not seeing any improvement in the RedHawks yet under Bergeron.

This team, man. We talk culture all the time around here. This year's squad is it. Pure, unabashed, unfiltered desire to win.

Think of the players out tonight! The best player in college hockey, our team's leading scorer, and probably our second-best defenseman who has been on an absolute tear, all wearing suits. The team then goes out and controls a really strong team, potting huge goals and playing shutdown defense up and down the ice on Senior Night. Incredible stuff.

So proud of this team and to be a fan of them. All balls, all the time.

WMU has some very clever offensive players.  You can see them slide into open space to receive passes, and the guys with the puck know to anticipate that.  It's pretty impressive.  Just as impressive then was the consistent play by UND's forwards to take that space away.  Time after time a seemingly dangerous play or rush was defused by a backcheck.  I can only conclude the guys are well coached and coachable.

That's all fine, but they are still grindaz.
