If they do, we better announce later that week.

UND needs to know what it costs to add seating to the Alerus before they can do anything.  This should probably be explored even though action isn't needed here yet.

Wouldn’t Chaves already have completed a rough cost summary for an FBS move?

How much better are the bisons now than when we played them. Seems like they continue to get better as the year goes on and we don’t as much

Well according to some one here we were just one bad Bubba play call away from beating the Bison and then moving on to be the next FCS champs.

It’s the “snowball effect ”. Their snowball went uphill and ours went downhill.

After that moment we did beat WIU and comeback wins at home vs YSU and ISU…

I know we like to complain about Bubbas play calling/decisions.. but the Bobcats punted from the NDSU 28 when it was a 0-0 game on a 4th&2.. in the national championship game and just kicked a FG down 35.

It certainly would have affected the trajectory of our program - renewed fan enthusiasm and attendance - a recruiting benefit, and probably given us momentum for some games we lost.  We may have made the playoffs and with 2 losses the Bison would probably have been on the road for their semi-final game at least.

They should. They’ll succeed there too. What can you say, they broke the FCS.

Couldn't agree more, with the exception of the Power 5 schools. NDSU would probably be the next Boise State.

It is pointless for NDSU to remain FCS.  FM market could support a successful FBS move.  Grand Forks?  Not so much.

Coaching…

And all of those other coaches got their asses handed to them against NDSU when it really mattered.  Do all FCS schools need new/better coaches? MSU is getting flat out embarrassed right now, even if their starting QB is out.

Watch the 10/2 game again . We went toe to toe with NDSU, same with SDSU, same with every FCS game we lost what’s the difference?

Agree.  And also agree JMU would have played them at their house.....and possibly could have beaten them at home.

I agree, our coaching needs to be better.  But also, all of these other coaches are getting schooled by NDSU and MSU looks silly today.  Although I'm sure they would have at least put up some points if Tommy didn't go out after the first drive.

MSU needs to score on first drive.  Would have made huge difference in game.  Also huge downer when qb went down.

Crap - now I have to listen to Bison fans for another year - although lately it has mostly just been crowing about how good they are and wanting to challenge Alabama.  They think UND is so far beneath them that it isn't so much fun to mock us anymore.  That's why I am so frustrated about this year.  We could have shut them up a bit.
