Yeah, but FDR tried that.  Pesky Constitution.  Let Law chime in on that.

Under the best of circumstances it is tough to get a nominee confirmed in the time left before the election.  Much less with a little over 40 days left

Nothing in the constitution about the size of the Supreme Court. FDR got rebuked by his own party who had a super majority.

Pretty fun legislation to read about, his own people were rather blunt about how they felt about it.

Wait until democrats gain the majority in the Senate and win the White House. They'll introduce legislation (and pass it) to expand the number of SCOTUS justices by 3 or 4 and then Biden will fill the seats.

Talk about heads exploding. :D

Key words.... Wait until.

Then the next time the GOP has the Senate and Presidency they will just go ahead and expand the number again. So there!

They will be a push to do that regardless of filling the now open seat.  That is why the talk of waiting now is BS and why you can’t trust the other party in today’s politics.  Do you take this opportunity if presented?

Yep. They have been talking about it for years. They shot the hostage before the FBI negotiator even arrived.

"You already said you were going to do that. Anything else?" - mitch

Hey, cultists.  Trump called his wife "ugly".

A double dose of hypocrisy.

How's the meltdown going? Lolololololorotflmaorotlfmao.  The way I see it one more Trump nominee should put the brakes on the far left b.s. in this country for at least another 10 years.

Likely looking at a lame duck session confirmation.

There is a curveball to this.  Since Arizona’s senate race is a special election, they can seat their senator by Nov 30th.  If McSally loses (which right now is likely to happen), it would give the Rs less margin of error.

So I would expect an attempt made between Nov 4th and nov 29th.
