Just went to a local grocery store. Masks not required. Two individuals walking in in front of me easily in their  late 70s......no masks. Table of 7 guys in little food area sitting around a table talking and drinking coffee. No masks. Not 6 feet apart. Definitely no goggles. Wish Redneksioux or Heydouch1 were there to shame them and tell them they are killing themselves.

Nah. But I’d shame any medical professional that supports eliminating pre-existing condition protections, any day.

When you leave your basement go ahead and try to find one.

Any member with an ounce of integrity would not vote. McConnell set the precedent. Trying to fill the seat now that throws all of the "law and order" arguments out the door and would be the height of hypocrisy.

Partially agree.....but the key difference in this case is that Scalia's death was truly a surprise.  RBG has been essentially clinging on by a thread for a year solely to try and avoid giving Trump another pick.  The reality is that she should have stepped down awhile back.

One thing we do know is Biden's list for a SCJ nominee can not be long. How many gay black females are out there to potentially meet the qualifications to get voted through? Under the current political,  racial and social climate what option does  he have left especially when pressured  from the AOC types.

It is scary.  The Supreme Court is still the last bastion of common sense in this country.  Despite leanings of some members there aren't any crazy ones on the bench (even gulp.....the Trump ones).  All you have to do is listen to Biden try and speak at a town hall for more than a minute and you know he's not gonna be the one making that list.

Scalia died 10 months before the 2016 elections.  You think maybe the surprise had waned by then?

I would respectfully disagree, as a conservative libertarian, the two justices that Obama appointed are leftwing activist judges. JMHO. To me they've been highly disappointing.

Fair enough.  Does the left have it in them to take their foot off of the tired old masks for everyone and blacks are the only minority that matter narrative long enough to focus on the appointment that is coming?  Seems like Trump has the perfect cover to pick a 3rd justice.

Lots of people will hold their nose and vote based on their feelings about abortion. My state is solid blue so I'm voting 3rd party, but now it's anybody's guess who will win. My opinion is it helps Biden more since there are so many far left folks that weren't going to vote for him out of loyalty to Sanders, and this happened with enough time for them to do so now.

It's a no-brainer for Trump whether there's a confirmation vote or not......nominate a black female and watch the liberal hypocrisy spin start.

Yep, actually, it won't matter who President Trump nominates, the left is going to come unglued.

Also with Redfield/CDC stating masks will be as or more efficacious than a potential vaccine Burgum needs to call a press conference today, enact a statewide mask mandate and also mandate schools, K-12 and universities. open face to face 5 days a week all classes. All businesses back to normal requiring masks to enter. All indoor activities require mask wearing.

This goes to the stupid response hall of fame.

So your kid's principle isn't a believer in masks or the CDC?

Or is he a Pelosi minion the kids are the virus "super spreaders"?

Can't speak for the man, think it was more guessing what Burgrum was going to do going forward.

I'm 100 percent keep the kids in school, but nobody listens to me.

Burgum can't have it both ways......no mask mandate yet mandate distancing  learning only.

MN has no HS VB due to the dumba## MSHSL so the regional JO VB clubs started last night with a regional site at the Rustad Center in WF. 6 courts going 5-10 pm. Kids competing, laughing and having fun. Everyone but players on court wearing masks. Great evening for all involved.

Kids are already wearing masks in school full time.....since masks work any spread in the community can't be blamed on kids in face to face school learning situations right?

Integrity went out the window with the fake impeachment. And the Kavanaugh hearings. The gloves are off.  No mercy for the socialists.

It's funny seeing all the half-baked justifications for why it's different this time, but at least you're willing to admit yours is for hyper-partisan reasons.
