The Sicatoka
Altru has the Mayo relationship. UND Med has the Mayo Cohort. Why not see their Denny and raise them the Brothers Mayo? Has Mayo been approached? Yes, that would be out of character for Mayo; they don't do a lot of "slap my name on" showy stuff.

I did have a chuckle about that. With that said: He is right about the State Board. How can you realistically do anything when a) your public reviews have been mostly positive and b) you had a different president in the NDUS that has done worse and you slapped his hand. The positive reviews, which of course drew the ire of KEM, thinking: WTF are you seeing? How does it end? Well, they could do exactly what you suggested a few posts back, but we shall see. The only way I see him leaving is A) he goes elsewhere or B) I'm going to ride off into the sunset.

Thanks. My memory was positive it was $10M, but my quick Google search only found the HPF press release and that didn't include the other million.

Surprisingly balanced given their prior coverage. Similar to another President, it seems that no matter what good Kennedy does, if people dislike him all that doesn't matter. I am not saying Kennedy is perfect by any means. He has his faults. We all do. But Kennedy has likely done more good for the long term stability of UND in the 2+ years he has been here than Kelley did in his Tenure. When Kennedy's time at UND is done, people will find reasons to dislike and criticize the next President.

BarnWinterSportsEngelstad
"And we do see bright spots at UND, most notably Kennedy's sweeping strategic plan and his work to secure research dollars for UND and NDSU." Shouldn't this be more like in cooperation with President B, or is President K soliciting some of the research dollars on his own for both U's? If for both, that should get Mark good marks with SBoHE.
CMSioux
Every president will be compared to Clifford, and none will ever be comparable in their minds. Different time, different issues.

The nice thing is people forget about those pesky details after a couple years and everyone moves on like it never happened. Similar to a locker room renovation that had the shortfall bonded due to a shortfall on donations that is still being paid off despite them being renovated again since then. Popular Post UNDBIZ
Not that these were all funded with the Spirit Campaign, but to say there hasn't been change on campus is ridiculous.
