Not a true fan in my book. Hockey is 60 minutes not 20

Yzer's a good fan--just a little vulnerable to his own passion.

Thoughts:

-Great team win.  All sorts of guys rowing the boat tonight after a bad start.

-Book is out on Jaillet.  Shoot high.  Really fought the puck.  Surprises the heck out of me.

-Reminded me of Western beating Denver.  You are going to get scored on regardless.  Sitting back just doesn't work against that team.

-Simonsons line was huge.  Deserved to be out there with under 3 left.

- Will find out a lot more about the group tomorrow with a pissed off Denver who is going to get challenged by Montgomery.

kojak on crack?    like anyone remembers Kojak.   Telly?

Heck yeah. Kojack was the coolest. Had candy (suckers?) in a fancy cigarette case.

No one has ever filled the shoes of Kojack.

I think I got it... Someone photo shop Motzko's head in place of the Big Show, and this will be perfect.

Ummm, you mean Montgomery??

No. Montgomery is obviously Kurt Angle. (:silly:)  The Big Show is in the headlock. That can be Motzko. It's time for bed.

Funny to watch the meltdown of people time and time again year in and year out and how they change their whole outlook within the context of a single game.  It goes the opposite way as well, thinking they can't lose and many times these are the same people.  Glad the players don't get too high or too low as much as the fans. If one of our All time teams can get swept in Denver a couple years ago, why is it one bad period pushes people over the edge?

Watched the whole thing...as bad as it got, our boys did not give up.  These guys just keep hanging around and grinding until they finally bang one home.  And apparently that's all it took as they had all the momentum until we went up 4-3.  Simo's line was great getting the game winner.  Great team effort all around; let's go for the sweep tomorrow!

Shocked if any DU coach wants his recruits to be hearing "Let's Go Sioux" all night.

Good point.  Given the way Sioux fans travel, I wonder if we have ever influenced opponents' recruits in in their' own barns.  Be interesting if any of our players or committed recruits ever noticed that when they were visiting another program.

that's why it's often unfair they way we fans are quick to say they don't care or aren't working hard when things aren't going well on the ice.   North Dakota players are known for their work ethic and team play.

I can understand. I felt his frustration too but a 3 goal lead is never safe. Witnessed it a bunch lately where 3 goal leads ended up in losses.
