The Sicatoka Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 I like Kalen's coaching at USF but will admit it may have been as much "staff" as him. For similar, see also: Jerry Kill. Quote
Shawn-O Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 Kill was the heart and soul of that Gopher operation. Claeys and Limegrover aren't exactly lighting the world on fire. Quote

SiouxBoys Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Gone. Has to be. Anybody who comes on here to defend him is just trolling. He's completely useless. 3 Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Useless offensive mind = Paul Rudolph i feel bad for the players and especially seniors like Keaton Studsrud; they could've been used in a far more diverse yet effective offense. Lastly, the multidimensional use of the best players on offense (Santiago, Oliveria, Johannesson) is nonexistent. 3 Quote

F'n Hawks Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 I’d like to see a good QB in Rudolph’s system, no disrespect to Studs he is a great leader and really tough/gritty but I don’t think he is a talented QB. I won’t fault him today, sometimes he ran too early but his receivers dropped too many balls. Stetson Carr had a good game but that fumble hurt us big time. Interesting offseason coming up, will there be any coaching changes? Will he clean house and improve the roster? They sure have missed on recruits, ex. Tyus Carter and Vashon Tucker. ILB, Safety, and OL are the biggest areas of improvement going into next season. As well as the QB battle. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted November 11, 2017 Author Posted November 11, 2017 So who should replace Rudy if he's fired? Anyone got any good ideas? Quote

Feff Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Rudolph should be gone and the announcement should come sooner than later. That lets incoming recruits know what's going on (some might be apprehensive with the offensive struggles and lack of imagination), and it lets you try to find a replacement quickly, give that replacement more time to get to know the remaining players and influence some of the recruiting strategies. Hawkster Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Any guesses when the ax falls? I'll say it happens, but not this coming week. I think Bubba lets the dust settle and tries to pretend that it's not a snap decision. Quote
shep Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 The new recruit signing period is Dec 20-22. Need to get our shat together now. 1 Quote

Florida canned its head coach two weeks ago and Tennessee pulled the plug on Butch Jones less than 12 hours after his latest debacle at Missouri. If Bubba hasn't already told Rudolph to have his office cleaned out by the time he rolls into the office at 7:59 am tomorrow morning, then UND will once again prove itself to be a minor league football operation. 6 Quote
Cratter Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Bubba don't have the balls to fire Rudolph. 1 Quote
