Blais*

He was an assistant coach from 1980-1989 and head coach from 1994-2004.

Under 10 seasons as head coach he has

- the highest winning percentage for a coach at und at .733

- 5 MacNaughton cups

- 4 Broadmoor trophies

- 2 ncaa titles

- 3 title game appearances

Not including his hardware from being an assistant coach. I think it's more a respect for a great coach in making this program one of the best in college hockey.

He brought us back to greatness out of a tough time in the early-mid nineties.

I'm a little surprised at our chances even losing both games. 89 percent us still  strong. Definitely pulling for the Michigan schools in big 10 first round and the Gophers to be sole rep.  Quinnipiac losing is also big.

Would love to see Air Force get an at large.  Two teams from Atlantic hockey and only one from the Big Ten would be a dream come true.

Combine all that with a green blazer and the Blais grill, and you have one uncommon dude.

I've certainly enjoyed pointing out their lone spot in years past. Especially when both the NCHC and WCHA were sending half of their conferences.
