What better time to do it than when everybody is still on the high of winning the National Championship.  People are still buzzing about that, so the carnage isn't quite as bad as it would be otherwise. Feel bad for those athletes needing to look elsewhere now, especially when some athletes are going to get a stipend next year.

We've gone from watching the Sioux twice a year on TV to FTA satellite to cable on Fox sports to webcasts.

It's been a long time coming. 

In those four years when UND made its hockey comeback by winning two titles and being in the mix all four (1980-84) , I had to rely on the San Francisco Chronicle or San Jose Mercury News for results.  You can imagine how frustrating that was.   Seems like the Pony Express days now.
