Anything think Schmidt jumped ship to quickly?

he could be a coach on bama

No. Schmidt's ultimate goal is to become a HC and staying at a ST coordinator position isn't going to get him to that goal anytime soon.

In viewing their board it sounds like an internal hire

You would've thought the GOBC would've known this information...

Matt Waletzko should get more of a look at OT this offseason with Tyron Smith moving on. Hope he can make the most of it!

kind wonder if he's like matt stafford....iirc he had both shoulders done early in his career and then healthy and had a super bowl winning career

He must stay healthy this year. They are high on him but worried about injuries.

Not technically a former player, but one-time UND football commit Darius Luff won the 110 meter hurdles for Nebraska at the NCAA track championships last night. He'll be running in the Olympic trials in a few weeks. Obviously he's a long-shot to make the team given how strong of an event the hurdles is in the US, but it's also not completely out of the question given that he dipped under 13.20 seconds last night.

I don't normally like saying this out loud...but looks like Mr. Luff made the right choice...good for him!!!
