darell1976 Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 A big Hawk logo on the 50, and Fighting Hawks in the endzones. 5 3 Quote

And then on the other end make it entirely glass so some natural light can get in. 2 Quote

I guess that is more what I meant. I realize curved seating isn't going to happen. But seating in one end zone and then glass on the other would be pretty sweet. 2 Quote
Popular Post UNDColorado Posted February 14, 2017 Popular Post Posted February 14, 2017 I think a good start would be a better sound system. 2000 is a long time ago and I imagine this system has been in place since then. 7 Quote

Western Michigan uses Chelsea Dagger after every touchdown. So I would more so look at it as copying them since its football. But if you want to make it a hockey thing.... Quote

In the early part of the last century, they were called the Fighting Aggies. How many of you knew that? Quote

I think they've also went by Farmers at one point. Wish they'd kept one of those old names. Quote

Cratter Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 All non students to show up before halftime. 2 Quote

So their logo could look like Nebraska's. Instead of red just sub in yellow and Farmers instead of Huskers and boom. Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Although glass on one end and seating in the other end zone would be spectacular upgrades, it is quite the pipe dream. From a realistic perspective, I would say: 1) NEW sound system 2) New turf with fighting hawks logo at midfield and end zones -- this could become reality in a few years as the Big Sky logos will also need to be replaced by MVFC logos 4 1 Quote

We join the MVFC in 2020. I would anticipate the Alerus waiting until then to install new turf. Still relatively new. Hopefully when they do replace it the 3rd times the charm and the Alerus decides to put in a midfield logo that IS NOT the Alerus Center logo but the Fighting Hawks logo. 4 1 Quote

So it will expire in 2021. Also, I guess I didn't realize the Alerus Center changed their logo. Ironically one that features "bird wings" in the A. Quote
