Westside Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 77-34 ballgame. Montana State: 745 total yards (406 passing, 339 rushing w/ 8.1 ypc)... Kinda puts in perspective what UND Defense did against them. 3 Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 They still need to score points to win. 1 more loss and they won't sniff the playoffs. As bad as Eastern Washington is defensively they still have a crazy offense who will get points against UND but not their average. However UND will still probably struggle to keep pace with their offense. Obviously UND needs to score, but having a ball-control offense and defense that disrupts the rhythm of these spread, up-tempo offenses goes a long way. Also, causing turnovers can even up a game real quick by giving offenses (even struggling offenses like UND) a short field and many "easier" opportunities. Quote

bincitysioux Posted October 14, 2014 Author Posted October 14, 2014 Idowu, Tillman Earn ROOT SPORTS Player of the Week Honors That makes four Player of the Week honors already this season for UND players (Tillman twice). I don't recall any last season, unless maybe Hardin got it once or twice. Quote
mksioux Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Really weird story out of Waconia, Minnesota that appears to involve a Northern Arizona football player. http://www.kare11.com/story/news/crime/2014/10/16/police-star-hs-basketball-player-attacked/17349209/ Quote
Redneksioux Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Watching Montana vs Davis via Fta right now it's in the 3rd and tied at 14. Teams appear evenly matched. Quote
Redneksioux Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Davis had possession with 3 minutes left in the 4th down by 7 but couldn't make anything happen. 42-28 final Montana. Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Eastern Washington up 13-3 at half versus Northern Colorado. Idaho State leads Southern Utah (UND's opponent next week) 14-7 in the 2nd quarter. Quote
Dagger Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 I guess the national issue with students not coming to college football games affects everyone. They are snapping in Fargo because there were large areas of the student section at the Fargodome that were totally vacant. I guess winning doesn't solve that problem either. Quote

Their games would be boring because they blow out every team. It's like us vs valpo. Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Excuse after excuse. The students aren't into it anymore; just accept it. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 ISU is just taking it to SUU, 56-28. ISU has put up around 700 yards of offense We better smack SUU around next week. Quote
Feff Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Yup, student interest in sports is declining. Why go to some sporting event when you can sit around in an apartment or bar, watch the same game or different game of the same sport, and get wasted? Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Weber giving MSU all it can handle in the 4th. 20-13 MSU with 6:40 to go Quote
Redneksioux Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Msu Just put weber away with a forced fumble. Quote
Redneksioux Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 I must say swx does a great job for the Montana schools. Quote
Dagger Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Watched the UNI/ SDSU game. Neither team looked very impressive. A lot of really bad decision making by both squads. A lot of mistakes were made. Neither team deserved to win. Quote
108498 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Students have a lot more on their plate then a few years ago. Many students find they are better off in the long run working, studying, or being apart of UND programs such as Chi Alpha, Studio One, Club sports, or student gov then spending all day at a game. Also when people do have off time, they want to attend a party like event to cool off such as at the Ralph. Quote
darell1976 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Anyone else feel a lot better about playing EWU when they squeak by UNC? We can beat them!! Quote

Our favorite Bison guy Johnboy is getting ripped on BV because he says it's not fun to watch NDSU anymore so he went home to log on here. (Just guessing in that last part) Quote
homer Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Anyone else feel a lot better about playing EWU when they squeak by UNC? We can beat them!! I feel good about how the remaining schedule plays out. We could get EWU at the right time and also have Weber and NAU at home. Besides EWU those will be the most challenging games. Quote

I am pretty sure students want to drink cheap beer and not be hassled, and live life through a smart phone. Quote
