Cratter Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 We beat Montana in basketball last year and we will beat them in football this year. Bank on it. Quote
JohnboyND7 Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 I fully expect UND to dominate the Big Sky this year. We beat Montana in basketball last year and we will beat them in football this year. Bank on it. I'll assume both of these are sarcastic. Quote
Smoggy Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 According to coach Kotelnicki on twitter today was the last junior day and a couple more chest bumps were given between coaches. Sounds like our quiet offseason is picking up with some early commits. @CoachKotelnicki Quote

travisWSN Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Joe Schobert will be attending the University of North Dakota. I'm still trying to get confirmation if any scholarship money freed up or anything changed from what UND was offering/talking about originally. 3 Quote

UND Fan Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Joe Schobert will be attending the University of North Dakota. Hopefully, you will be providing us with more good news in the upcoming weeks with some Badger State commitments to UND. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 I would really like to know what the chest bumps have been about this week. Its too bad coaches cant tweet on it.... Hopefully word gets out somehow Quote
geaux_sioux Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Not knowing who the chest bumps are about is getting on my nerves...... We need a mole 1 Quote
sioux24/7 Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Not knowing who the chest bumps are about is getting on my nerves...... We need a mole Agreed! Quote
Rick Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Agreed! One of them was most likely when Schobert notified them that he was rejecting the scholarship offers and the other preferred walk on from Wisconsin to take the preferred walk on from UND. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 One of them was most likely when Schobert notified them that he was rejecting the scholarship offers and the other preferred walk on from Wisconsin to take the preferred walk on from UND. So much for that now. I wonder if that was one of them. Hopefully we learn something soon. Quote
Hambone Posted July 30, 2012 Author Posted July 30, 2012 Per an Izzo tweet, UND has offered Cretin-DH QB Conor Rhoda. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 I keep checking Kani Benoit on google to see if he happens to be one of the chest bumps! Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvxJrufpmlo Fluid-looking athlete; could end up being a real good FCS quarterback. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Schobert going to Wisconsin. See 2012 Recruiting Quote
sioux24/7 Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 I wonder if one of the chest bumps was over new commitment Mitchell Meindel? Here is his Kohl's Kicking profile http://kohlskicking.com/profile/mitchell-meindel/3111/ Quote
UND Fan Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Meindel has nice size (6'3", 190+) and apparently has a great leg. His strength may be punting but he averaged 67 yards per kickoff - very good for a high schooler! Quote
UND Fan Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 As Hambone noted above, this is our first QB offer (as far as I know): QB Conor Rhoda, 6'3", 190, 4.8, St. Paul (Cretin-Derham Hall) MN Quote
CMSioux Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I wonder if one of the chest bumps was over new commitment Mitchell Meindel? Here is his Kohl's Kicking profile http://kohlskicking....l-meindel/3111/ This kid is going to win us some close games down the road. It's a game of inches and he could be the difference. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I wonder if he will step in and punt right away next season when Brett Cameron graduates. Quote
UND92,96 Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Per a Kotelnicki tweet, it sounds like there was another commitment today. Quote
Teeder11 Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I love our local guys in the media -- don't get me wrong -- but they sure don't seem to have the same fire or desire to get on top of recruiting committments like Izzo and Kolpack do. Those two seemingly are always abuzz on Twitter with new info on recruits. Maybe it's not a priority for the local media guys, but there sure seems to be a thirst for it. 1 Quote
