brianvf Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago We are loading up on dmen. D-corps looking very strong for years to come. Now just need another elite forward or two. 3 Quote
siouxfaninseattle Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Look to be a solid replacement for Emery (shutdown D). Quote
AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago When was our last Hill Murray player? Voltin obviously never made it to campus. Quote

Popular Post brianvf Posted 3 hours ago Popular Post Posted 3 hours ago Quote Carson Scott had already made three recruiting visits. But it was different when the 6-foot-3, 182-pound physical shutdown defender walked through UND's campus earlier this week. Scott, who plays for the U.S. Under-17 Team, gave a verbal commitment to play college hockey for the Fighting Hawks on the spot. He made his commitment public Thursday night. "Right when I stepped foot on campus, I felt the gut feeling that everyone talks about," Scott said. "Getting to know the coaches a little better, they seemed so personable. Talking about the culture of North Dakota, I felt like it fits me as a player." Looks like UND beat out MSU, UST, and UMD for Scott's services. Quote He made previous visits to Boston University, Michigan State and St. Thomas. He ultimately chose the Fighting Hawks over Michigan State, St. Thomas and Minnesota Duluth. Also sounds like UND had some recruiting help with his U17 teammate Thoreson, as they are good friends. 4 1 Quote

St Thomas is certainly going to be a bigger player in recruiting battles for Minnesotans going forward, this proves it. They won't land the bigger names right away, but they'll be kicking tires earlier than most 2 Quote

Or maybe the Gophers were but he declined early on. Jackson's proven to be a good recruiter, comes across as very open & personable in his interviews. Can see how a young man would feel comfortable trusting his development with him. 2 Quote

Minnesota already has MacArthur and Geiger as 2009 recruits on defense from the NDTP. 1 1 Quote

It’s possible Minnesota hadn’t offered yet, given their current commits, but I’m not sure I believe all their fans who claim they weren’t interested at all Quote

Now that you say his name I think I've asked that same question here before and got that answer then. Crazy that this kid went from JV to Varsity to NTDP in roughly 16 months. Quote
