In the football recruiting context, I would say a lower end 4 star with potential to become a higher end 4 star with more development. Might need another year of junior post NTDP before getting to campus

St Thomas is certainly going to be a bigger player in recruiting battles for Minnesotans going forward, this proves it. They won't land the bigger names right away, but they'll be kicking tires earlier than most

I don't remember any since Todd Norman (84-86).  Surely there must be someone since then?

Interesting that big schools MSU & UND were after him, but not Minnesota. Or maybe the Gophers were but he declined early on.

Jackson's proven to be a good recruiter, comes across as very open & personable in his interviews. Can see how a young man would feel comfortable trusting his development with him.

Minnesota already has MacArthur and Geiger as 2009 recruits on defense from the NDTP.

Visited BU as well. It’s possible Minnesota hadn’t offered yet, given their current commits, but I’m not sure I believe all their fans who claim they weren’t interested at all

Now that you say his name I think I've asked that same question here before and got that answer then.  Crazy that this kid went from JV to Varsity to NTDP in roughly 16 months.
