Looks like Cags might be on the second line tonight with Kane vs the Rangers.

(Edmonton and maybe Chicago) Fans seems to hate his productivity, but coaches seem to love his heart and determination.

To be fair Jost already has twice as many games in the N as Rocco.  Also it seems like Rocco finally is fitting in, don't jinx him!

Honestly thats a direct result of draft position 10th vs. 33rd... 1st round vs. 2nd round.

1st rounders are given the benefit of the doubt, 2nd rounders have to beat the doubt to get the benefit.

........ that was yoda like wisdom...

Funny. Just pointing out the obvious to everyone with the Hak knee pads.

After the last few seasons, sure beats the hell out of B's ankle pads...

I still wonder what the 1986-87 "Hrkac Circus" national championship team would've been with this guy as a freshman forward.

Just a beast. A man among boys.  Look at his arms, for a hockey player back in the day he's solid linebacker size.....but on skates no less.

Watching the Wild game during Hockey Day in Minnesota, a celebration of hockey in Minnesota, and up comes the graphic of Career NHL Goals By Minnesota Born Player:

1.  Zach Parise

2. Dave Christian

... so yeah, the two best went to UND.

Classic case of a desperate team signing a kid before he was ready. I hope Jost can recover.

So Jost won't be the first UND player to leave early to ever say he made the right decision and would do the same thing all over again?

Paul LaDue with the game winning goal for the Kings today.  Maybe he should be playing more since they don't seem to be doing much otherwise.

Cags on the top line right now.

An interesting moment in the Hawks/Caps game.  JT and Oshie were facing off, and JT got tossed.  He was replaced Caggiula.  Sioux won that one.

Jost is now out for an extended period of time with an ankle injury while trying to make a go of it in the AHL

With the Athletic I don’t need to pay for a newspaper subscription. They’re fabulous.
