Latest I saw is some kind of fracture in lower back.  Will miss rest of season but not a career ender or anything like that.

Canucks Twitter says full recovery in 4-6 weeks but VAN will shut him down for the rest of season.

That looked brutal.  Hope it looked worse than it actually was and he's ok...that'd be a horrible way to end his stellar first NHL season.

Article on Jost:

Of course Jost isn't going to say 'I left UND too early, I'm not ready for the NHL'. However, I really think he jumped the gun on leaving. One more year and he could've been a Hobey candidate and rounded out his game while getting stronger. He's had a lot of injuries adjusting to the physicality of the pro game.

My thoughts exactly.

My stomach dropped when I saw the video. He hit awkwardly and clutched at his mid-back the same way Shazier from the Steeler did when he injured his spine.

Anyone else think that writer of that “article” just tries to start drama? Like why would you even write an article like this? He clearly was hoping Tyson would say he regretted it otherwise there’s really no story.

Every season he writes some arrogant condescending piece of crap void of research that’s purely REACHING that everyone takes as fact because it’s in the paper. He’s a wannabe gossip columnist if you ask me.
