siouxforeverbaby Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Blake Geoffrion, 2010 Hobey Baker winner at Wisconsin, was rushed to the hospital after a huge check last night and had surgery. What the operation was is still unknown, but it's apparently not life-threatening. He remains in ICU. http://sports.yahoo....32993--nhl.html They have updated his condition to stable and have stated that it was surgery for a depressed skull fracture. http://canadiens.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=645373 Quote

fargosioux Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Mario Lamoureux has 8 goals in his first 20 games in the ECHL this season. He only scored 17 career goals in 148 games at UND. Quote
as15 Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Mario Lamoureux has 8 goals in his first 20 games in the ECHL this season. He only scored 17 career goals in 148 games at UND. And with 17 points thus far, he has already tied his career high at UND. This absolutely surprises me, the ECHL is not a bad league, and throughout his time here Mario never really showed much offensively. Quote

Sioux_Hab-it Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Travis Roche added a Spengler Cup Medal to his collection this morning as Canada defeated Davos 7-2 in the final. Thanks to Bettman and Fehr both lineups were loaded with NHLers, with Thornton and Kane as two of the Davos forwards. Quote
