Maybe they looked at his positives and took into consideration just how bad of spots our terrible play calling put our offense in over and over and over again down the stretch. 1 Quote

Dawg, some of those throws he missed made me yearn for Joey Bradley. Don’t get me wrong, the kid is a gamer and did make some good throws, but there are gaping holes in his game and some of the throws he struggles with are elementary. 2 Quote
Sioux94 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Do we know how much he was offered? I'm assuming the 500k comment was just thrown out there as an example. Quote

As far as Izzo goes, the Monday after the playoff loss he said Anene and Beau Johnson for sure already had large offers waiting for them. Now that NIL collectives have grown the last couple years, it's just what it's gonna be for good MVFC players on every roster. Gotta hand it to the guys that stick around now a day for sure - Kaminski, Rucker, etc. 2 Quote

Going to need 2 or 3 WR’s from the portal this year. Let’s hope we hit big and find what we have desperately needed for a long time. 1 Quote
AJS Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago The way I look at it, although there is only one actual portal window this year, I break it into two categories. (1) Pre-window. We're at the point now, where you've either said you're coming back or you've announced your intent to enter. (2) Spring portal(ish), are there any flips... guys who said they are returning that in the next two weeks flip and enter. If that happens to UND, USD, NDSU, it'll be an extra hard pill to swallow. AJS Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago MVFC teams need to be concerned with Iowa State. To say they are desperate would be an understatement. 1 Quote

The kid could run and take a hit though but was a bottom half MVFC QB. I have a hard time imagining an FBS team watching him play the last half of the year and thinking he is the answer. Maybe it was all fruechte play calling and development but I doubt it. I still think he took some big hits in the USD game that impacted the remainder of the season. Let’s hope for first half of the year Jerry in 26.. and a couple guys pushing him hard for time. Quote

There should be some scrambles, some where he pulls to keep the defense honest, maybe a couple of designed runs. It should never get to the point where he is continuously getting beat up. 12 Quote
