Apparently the players don’t understand the philosophy of being aware when the Plante line is on the ice.  Take something if given 3x3, but live to get a second unit on the ice where you probably have an advantage.

Gotta decide somehow, or just concede a tie for equal points. Which would work for larger pools, but likely would result in snoozer/loser games to watch. Then we would complain about that. In the end, just win in regular time, or suck it up and learn to win in whatever OT the NCHC/NCAA devises.
