Popular Post UND-FB-FAN Posted 20 hours ago Popular Post Posted 20 hours ago Huge opportunity this weekend in Grand Forks at the Alerus Center on October 11, 2025, at 3 PM versus Youngstown State (3-2). Youngstown State is 3-2 after defeating Mercyhurst and Robert Morris at home and then defeating Towson on the road. Their losses are to Michigan State (24-41) and on Saturday to South Dakota State (30-35) although they were leading at halftime. Youngstown State has a very good quarterback in Beau Brungard. Anyone who watched last year’s OT loss to Youngstown should remember him. He’s a very athletic QB that can make plays with his feet and his arm. Going to be a good challenge competing against him. Anyways, huge opportunity for 2025 UND football. Everyone get out to the Alerus Center on Saturday and enjoy our home conference opener against a very solid opponent. Get loud and cheer on UND to their second conference victory. We owe Youngstown one after year. Big QB duel between Brungard and our very own big-time gunslinger Jerry Kaminski. Let’s Go Hawks! 3 8 Quote
forksandspoons Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Just win! Crowd needs to be loud early and often to help out the defense. Their QB is playing at a very high level right now. 1 1 Quote

Dustin Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I think this YSU will be a victory due to home field. But I am not expecting a drubbing. Probably something like 28-14, with that last UND TD coming in the 4th quarter. I'll be curious what the betting lines are. Quote
AJS Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Might seem dramatic, but this is essentially a “loser out” for a playoff bid. I’m excited to watch the defense get after it. Will be a great crowd on hand. Hawks cover the spread. Quote

Illinois. Quote

CMSioux Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Our defense is quietly flying under the radar especially the run defense. I like our chances as this staff has proven they can develop a solid game plan each week so far. Look at how Montana has run over every other opponent except us this year. 4 Quote
iramurphy Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Brungard will be a challenge. He has thrown for over 1000 yds and averages over 100 yds/gm on the ground including a game this year where he ran for over 200 yds. We had trouble containing him last year and allowed him to be the difference. Jerry is coming off of his best game, our RB’s are running well and Fleming and DeMontagnac both were impressive last week. It was good to finally see Hoskins get reps. Oline needs to dominate and our defense needs to contain Brungard. Last year we “over ran” the pocket too many times which allowed him to make plays with his arm and his legs when it looked like he might be sacked. 2 Quote
The Sicatoka Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Will this team be fat and happy after the road win, or will they take more. Another opportunity to make a loud, clear statement. 1 3 Quote

Hopefully a new base D is just what the Dr. ordered to allow Rucker and Vig to storm the edge and get home, with Wiltshire as a spy just in case #12 gets loose. 1 1 Quote

Might not be a bad week to break out a spy for the QB. Won't be the last time they may need it this year. Shut down his running/scrambling and I think UND will be fine. Easier said than done. 5 2 Quote

Yes, I liked the speed Hoskins showed on his limited touches as well! 2 Quote

AJS Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Really interested in an injury update. Was Stay the only one that returned last weekend that was also out against Valpo? Need some of those guys back. Walker was CB1 / Tai WR2. 2 Quote
