Curious to see who had input in these jerseys.  Were some players consulted, and are they excited for them?

Definitely more of a fan of these than the previous version.

 

No numbers on the front is a big improvement, like the simple design as mentioned above (better than throwing to much color etc on the jersey) , 90s throwback vibe with the "North Dakota" script. (For some reference I'm aged late 20s with family members that went to UND in the 90s and I think this jersey will appeal to both my demographic + that 90s demographic - maybe I'm way off though who knows haha)

Diagonal Nodak looks outstanding! I really like the black .... could business suits be a thing again? Or is that another thing Berry destroyed?

I'm with @stoneySIOUX, I like the simplicity. I'm a retro guy, so new and flashy doesn't do much for me.

I also agree with @RhettRingers that there should be a combo of the green jerseys with green breezers and helmets. Though I suppose they could work that combo in if they want.

Wasn’t a fan of them then and not enthralled with them now.  In fact signed petitions back then to get the Blackhawk logo back.  Those days are gone, but if the players and future recruits are good with this jersey style, and if we can be better than how mediocre we were wearing them back then, they might grow on me a little more.

Some folks bemoaned the lack of creativity and inspiration on what some call the UND "post office" logo. 

I'd like their thoughts on block courier bold serif font.

The black NODAK jersey is the best one here IMHO. Agreed with @AlphaMikeFoxtrot that the Fighting Hawks "Post Office esque" logo on the shoulder doesn't look good.

Was hoping for more Creativity in the new jerseys, instead just going with the same boring North Dakota on the front.  Please just wear the Nodak jerseys.

The design was a collaboration among UND's athletic department. Input came from administrators, the hockey department and feedback from UND fans.

Martinson said he expects the new jersey will be strong in the retail market. The Sioux Shop began selling replica and authentic jerseys Thursday morning. Replicas cost $149.23. Authentics are $339.23.

The jerseys that say ‘North Dakota’ take me back to the early 90’s. The teams weren’t very good and they’d just removed the classic Chicago Blackhawks Indian head logo which I was pretty bitter about. Am I correct in my recollection that those teams didn’t have much trouble scoring goals but sure couldn’t keep them from ending up in the back of our net as well?

No, they've had the logo on the shoulder for several years now.
