I wasn't there, @Oxbow6 was the first to report this as his seats are right by the student section. @brianvf may have riled him up though. 1 Quote

Just don't want to get my hopiums up for no reason. There's an old saying that you can't fix problems with the same people who created them. If the team has been having problems with consistency going on 10 months now, what gives anyone the impression that it'll be magically solved next year with the same coaching staff? It's baffling that no one on the staff can fix this core issue..it just goes on & on & on...These disappearing acts for many minutes at a time have become an entrenched pattern with the team, not just a couple of isolated incidents. Another issue I have with BB is his line-ups. Last Friday he could have dressed Croal & gotten a solid 8-10 minutes out of him that night, with him shadowing & possibly neutralizing Bump. What does he do though? He dresses Montgomery who players under a minute. It's BB's job to put the most talented team on the ice every night, & he failed to do that Friday. He also has been showing a clear preference for TJ most of the year, not developing HH who has better numbers & who possibly has a higher ceiling than TJ. Finally, not disciplining Kunz last weekend sends the message to the locker room that there will be no consequences for players who cause the team to lose. A head coach who is unable to discipline players fairly & evenly across the board when needed will eventually lose respect from his team & be viewed as a paper tiger. These examples call into question his decision-making, or his favoritism, towards certain players. 1 3 Quote

SIOUXELEVENS Posted Thursday at 02:37 PM Posted Thursday at 02:37 PM So now the tail wags the dog ? If that’s how Berry coaches no wonder we are in the shape we are. Redneksioux Posted Thursday at 02:47 PM Posted Thursday at 02:47 PM Not saying I know thats an issue, just wonder if it could be one of them Quote

So if Berry did that, and our biggest rival won two National Championships because of it, you would never let him forget that. Probably lost out on 3 great college players because of that, because UND probably would have got Danny Irmen as well. Quote

He had 38 goals his junior year and should have won Hobey. Blais messed that one up. He chose Brian Canady over Grant. 1 Quote

Scratch Posted Friday at 02:59 PM Posted Friday at 02:59 PM Half way thru this week's Schlosscast. So far its another week of "if I cherry pick a couple power play goals and pretend they didn't give them up, they would be 16 in the pairwise right now." Then bringing up UND's history of going on second half runs in the second half "over the last 20 years" while leaving out that all of those runs were between 10 and 20 years ago with a different coach. Groundhog day for the team and the media apparently. At the end of the year I'm sure we'll here about how the the champion team had 0 first rounds picks while omitting that, like every year lately, the other frozen four teams were a combination of BU BC MN and Michigan. 1 2 Quote
