Yeah you certainly don’t want to lose any current players or commits that could help right the ship if a coaching change is made. 
Zellers has already swapped commitments once. I suppose a lot could hinge on who is hired and how quickly the hiring process goes.

not sure...but his biggest weakness imo is the lack of high end talent that used to "just come here bc it's Fighting Sioux Hockey"....now with more programs in bigger/warmer cities AND NIL we are struggling to bring in guys like in the past....and IF and WHEN they get here they don't really produce or grow as a hockey player....

Dave Hakstol playoff record:  

-  WCHA/NCHC playoffs:  36-14, 4 Championships

-  NCAA playoffs:  17-11, 7 Frozen Fours, 0 Championships

 

Brad Berry Playoff Record

-  NCHC playoffs:  17 - 9, 1 Championship* (All games at REA)

-  NCAA playoffs:  5-4, 1 Championship

 

Hakstol in 11 years never missed the NCAA tournament.  One and done only 2 years.

Berry in 10 years (this year included) has missed the tournament 3 times (potentially 4 this year) and has 4 first round exits.  4 of his 5 NCAA tournament wins came in the 2016 Championship year.  Since 2016, he has had 1 playoff win.

 

Berry couldn't hold Hakstols jockstrap when he was a baby!!  Absolutely unacceptable results compared to his processor.   I miss the good old days when we bitched about losing in the Frozen Four.  How I long for those days again!!

you are not subtle in your desire for blue chip players, Current roster has 3 in my opinion (1st rd & upper half of 2n rd),   sure a full roster of 1st rounders sounds nice but not a cure all.  More is better than less and I doubt anyone is turning away a chippa for any other type of player.  Has Berry gotten his share of chippas?  compared to who, Hak, Blais, Gine, Michigan, BC, BU, the goofs....  without any further looking I would think he is trailing but not a bare cupboard situation.  Is he getting the most from them? meh, not in my humble opinion, but my qualifications are on par with a Giovannis 3.99 pizza, it's there and greasy, and it will make a turd.

you want life back into the columbia mall.........gut the mens warehouse and board by rotten board bring back the orginal layout of godfathers and watch that sucker (the mall) come back to life.

Yale and New Hampshire, can't remember the years. New Hampshire scored with a second left to tie it and then right off the bat in OT. Yale jumped out to a big lead and despite Frattin scoring a SC Top Ten goal we couldn't come back.

That was 2013, Frattin was in the N when that happened. Might have been the year when he biffed on a breakaway for Toronto in game 7 and Boston won in OT. Yale ended our season twice.

I went into Colombia Mall today for the first time in probably 15 years. Dang what a ghost town. So many empty spots. 
So much for our middle/high school hangout spot.
