Glad they came out ok in this game, but why play them anymore?  There has to be better tune up options.

Just back from the game.

Some guys made a noticeable jump from last year. 
Blake still sneaky and quick.
Gaber looked like he gained a step.
Perron.  Dang...it's gonna be a fun year watching him.  That hatty goal he had no room to shoot at, but he found the space.
Livanavage has good edges, is shifty, and looks like he'll put up some points.
OMac had some good looks and passes.

Excited to see how the d-corps look next weekend, but they didn't give Manitoba many looks at all.
6 SOG for them?  Ouch.

A couple of comments. We've done well recruiting in Manitoba so playing them is probably good exposure. And with this forward group there's less need for the D to pinch in as much as they seemed to do last year.

Either NCAA or NCAA-aspiring club teams from here on out. I'd rather play SFU/Minot State/UNLV/etc. than Manitoba.
