Yes. If it hurts so bad you have to lay on the ice for more than 5 seconds, should have to leave for the rest of period for concussion protocol

I disagree. It was a good hit and the ref reacted to the fact that he slid into the boards. Some of you have such a dislike for Cooper Moore that you have no objectivity and hope he fails so it advances your narrative

I can see why they called it because his head hit the boards, but it was shoulder to shoulder.  I'm sure on review, they thought, yeah, two, max.

The only criteria needed for boarding is the player going dangerously into the boards. Whether the check was shoulder to shoulder isn't relevant.

Very appropriate statement.  Before the days of concussion protocol, I had a high school player go down before we even could get the player to the ambulance.  Head injuries are no place for people to screw around.
